1. Creating a reservation
When a customer wishes to purchase an item at a later date, or when a certain item is still on backorder, it may be necessary to create a reservation in the system. To do this, navigate to the RESERVATION button on the home screen:
In the next window you will see an overview of all reservations that are currently open. In the same window, you can also edit or delete existing reservations:
To create a new reservation, click on the NEW button:
You will now be asked to select the salesman who will create the reservation:
After this, you will be presented with a window that is very similar to the standard sales window:
Before we start scanning, we make sure that the correct customer is selected. This is to find the reservation easily at a later time. To do this, press the SEARCH CUSTOMER button:
Via the filter in the next window, you can search for and select the right customer:
The customer will now be linked to the reservation:
When you are sure that the right customer has been selected, you can scan the desired articles or look them up manually:
If you wish, you can also add various items or enter a discount using the respective buttons:
When you're done, proceed to the payment screen via the PAYMENT button:
In the next screen, you can make a deposit on the reservation or the amount by first clicking on the SPLIT PAYMENT button , adjusting the amount and then selecting the correct payment method:
When you're done, click CLOSE + RECEIPT. A reservation receipt will now roll out of the printer:
2. Importing a reservation into a sale
If the customer wishes to pick up the item he or she ordered, you can import the reservation into a sale. To do this, open a new sale and select the appropriate customer via SEARCH CUSTOMER:
Then click on the IMPORT RESERVATION button:
The software will now search for all reservations that are linked to this customer and display the available, reserved items:
You can change the quantities to be imported, or import the reservation in its entirety via the IMPORT button:
The software will now import the desired items into your sale:
You can then proceed to the payment screen with the PAYMENT button:
You will now see that an advance has already been added in the payment overview. This is the amount that was paid when the reservation was created:
The payment method of the outstanding amount can now be selected. After this, the receipt can be closed:
